LBC Day 2012 Is Coming!
The Board of Regents of LBC have set aside April 29th, 2012 as LBC Day. The goal of LBC Day is to raise awareness of the college and our mission while creating partner involvement.
As you celebrate LBC Day, we ask that you set aside time to do a few things for us.
1. Pray for LBC, our staff, professors, administrators, and students
2. Give a special offering
Prayer will put God first so that we seek His will in our mission to educate preachers and other Christian leaders.
The special offering will make up the difference between gifts received from churches and individuals and the actual cost of educating Christian preachers and other Christian leaders this year. This offering will replenish the emergency fund and undergird the day to day operations until the new planned financial campaign is launched. This offering should be in addition to the regular church offering for that day as well as an addition to your regular gifts to the College. Our goal is to reach $75,000.

Why Bible College?
President Marx has co-authored an article in the Christian Standard with Mike Sweeney, President of Emmanuel School of Religion entitled "The Best Preparation Possible." The article answers the question "Why attend a Bible College, Christian College/University, or Seminary?" They dive into how personal ideas may need Biblical correction, how a Biblical Worldview is shaped, and how the answers for tough questions can be found from the best preparation.
